What requirements must be met in order to participate in the CBXR?
Minimal physical preparation to alternate running and walking. The race cannot be completed just walking, as there will be a maximum time for each stage.
Can I do just one stage of the CBXR?
Yes, the Selva Marítima route coincides with one of the stages of the CBXR, covering 25km and with a 1500m climb.
If I just do the Selva Marítima, how do I get back to Blanes?
The price includes the Tossa - Lloret de Mar - Blanes service bus.
Blanes Centre. It leaves every 30 minutes
Can my family accompany me on the three stages?
Yes. In the entries section you will find the option to register the family members who you want to accompany you.
Do I need to carry extra food?
The organisers recommend carrying some food for the free time between the race and dinner.
What time will the race finish at Portbou on the last day?
At 4pm.
What equipment do we have to bring to do the CBXR?
We recommend mountain running equipment, as special-purpose as possible.
Are entries limited? How long have I got to enter?
Entries will be limited but we do not yet know how many runners will be able to take part, so make sure you are not left without a place.
What time do we get up for the Challenge race?
About 8am.
What temperature will we find during the race?
It can vary. Sun, rain, cold. But the temperature is normally between 15 and 25º.
