2010 EDITION

With the experience accumulated from the first year, and with more volunteers and also more participants, the second edition of Costa Brava Xtrem Running was an all-round success.
The vitality of the runners and the beauty of the places the race passed through made this an unforgettable event.

In just two editions the number of participants in the Costa Brava Xtrem Running has more than doubled, and that figure is expected to continue to rise for the 2011 edition. Runner numbers rose from 169 in 2009 to 395 in 2010. Those registered for the event came from 17 countries all round the world, and most of them came accompanied by their families.

As regards the sex of entrants, 2009 saw 151 men and 18 women register, while in 2010 the number of women rose to 69 and men to 326.
