PREVIOUS RACES
We don't need to say much about how the Costa Brava Xtrem Running 2009 went. For all of us who took part, it was like seeing a race we had always dreamed come to fruition. Indescribable natural surroundings and sensational human value. Running along the coast paths from Blanes to Portbou in the Costa Brava centenary year was a great achievement. And we did it.
It all began with a cup of coffee on 1 November 2008 and did not stop until the entire course had been completed, testing all along the Costa Brava and marking out the future route. The race was organised and designed by runners, and this is the secret of the success of the CBXR.
We must thank all the sponsors who saw something positive in the race and got 100% involved, and the 200 participants who formed part of the great adventure.
Finally, we would like to encourage all future finishers of the CBXR, because we are working as hard as we can to create a great meeting for sportspeople who want to run in wonderful surroundings in our country.
